C.L. “Mac” McNease Jr., 84, of Timpson, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in Center.

Graveside service will be held Noon, Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Bro. Harold Hanson officiating.  

Born June 2, 1937, Mac is the son of Cletus Lee McNease Sr. and Littie Cassell McNease. He served in the United States Air Force and later worked as a supervisor in the oil field.  Mac attended Lone Star Baptist Church in Center.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Robbie Kerr of Timpson; grandsons, Kevin Kerr of Timpson and Chris Kerr and wife Dayna of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Gabriel Kerr of Lufkin and Abigail Kerr of Lufkin; brothers, James McNease of Houston and David Jones of Houston; sisters, Christene Crum of Louisiana and Nancy Jones of Louisiana; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife, Bennie Kerr McNease; and son, Glenn Kerr.
