86 year old Morris Donal Shofner, of Houston, passed away Thursday (May 27). Visitation and funeral service will be Friday (June 4) at 12 noon at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery in Houston. Morris was born in Dreka and graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1953. He started out working for Houston Lighting Power, but he joined the Houston Police Department where he worked for 27 years. He is survived by his daughter, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Brother, Carl & Lynn Shofner. 3 sisters & other relatives. Donations may be made to Assist the Officer fund in Houston.
