Blanch Haley

 

 

Blanch Haley, 97, of Center, Texas passed away on February 5, 2020, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Born December 17, 1922, in, San Augustine, Texas.  Blanch was the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Stephenson and Maud (Richards) Stephenson.  Visitation will be held February 7, 2020 at Mangum Funeral Home the visitation will be Friday 5:00 to 7:00. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church, Center, Texas with internment following at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

 

Blanche was a member of the First Baptist Church where she loved singing in the church Choir and where she taught preschool Sunday school for over 50 years. She enjoyed singing in the Golden Harvest Choir and being a active member in the Red hat Society. 

 

Blanche is survived by her granddaughter, Haley Beth and husband Caleb Williams; great granddaughters, Casey, Ava and Rowan Williams; sister Faye Elder; sister-in-law: Frances Haley; numerous nieces and nephews and host of family and friends.

 

Blanche is preceded in death by her late husband Denton Haley; daughter Betty Ruth Haley Slatten; son: Denny Haley Jr.; parents, Robert “Bob” Stephenson and Maud Stephenson; sisters: Willie Mae Windham, Lois Walton, Patsy Ann Stephenson, Minnie “V” Lovejoy and Avis Joy “ Dolly” Harris; brothers; Richard Stephenson, Perry Stephenson, Ray Stephenson, B.J. “Shorty” Stephenson, Billy Stephenson, Aaron Stephenson and Carl Stephenson.
