Gail Joleen Abercrombie Keys

 

 

Gail Joleen Abercrombie Keys, 65, of Center, Texas passed away on October20, 2019 in Nacogdoches, Texas.  Born February 9, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, Gail is the daughter of the late Waymon Duaine Abercrombie and Laverne (Leach) Dooley.  Memorial service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 2PM at Mangum Funeral Home, Center, Texas with Bro. Larry Chandler officiating.  

 

Gail graduated from David W. Carter High School in Dallas, Texas.  She married Ronald Keys and they raised two children, Kevin and Christy.  The two were married over 27 years.  Life happened and she later married Greg Frame whom has preceded her in death.  Gail was loved by all, having lots of friends that she enjoyed spending time with.  She never missed the opportunity to cheer her grandchildren on in all sports activities they were involved in. Even in the end as her grandson was playing football on Friday night she was listening for his name one the radio to cheer him on.  Gail enjoyed sewing, and definitely had a crafty hand.  She found great joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren as life allowed.  Gail was a member of Central Baptist Church.  

 

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Abercrombie; son, Kevin Duaine Keys and wife Kristy; daughter, Christy Jackson and husband David; brothers, Rodney Abercrombie and wife Kristy, Dan Abercrombie and wife Deborah; sister, Cindy Abercrombie; grandchildren, Krystal Keys, Dawson Jackson, Ethan Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.  

 

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Waymon Duaine Abercrombie and Laverne Leach Dooley; husbands, Ronald Keys and Greg Frame.
