Larry Wayne Barton, 68, of Center, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, at his residence.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2019, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mr. Barton was born December 31, 1950, in Center, to Elzie Barton and Jessi Shelton Barton.  He was employed as a truck driver for Tyson Foods.  An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Barton enjoyed hunting and fishing.  His most treasured times were times spent with family.

He is survived by his wife, Libby Barton of Center; children, Larry Barton of Alabama, Patrick Barton of Center, and Carlee Barton of Timpson; grandchildren, Christian, Jason, and Chase; and sister, Ann Mayfield of Louisiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Johnny Barton.
