Ima Claudean Johnson, 79, of Many, Louisiana, passed away on July 4, 2019 in Fisher, Louisiana surrounded by family. She was born in Shelby County in 1940 to Claude and Ruby Dean Livingston. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at White Rock Cemetery outside of Center, TX. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Mangum Funeral Home in Center, TX.

Claudean grew up in Multimax Village near Beaumont, TX. She graduated from French High School with the Class of 1958. Shortly after graduation she met the love of her life, Emmett Dalton Johnson, on a blind date.

The two married at the young age of 19 and had three sons, Joseph (Joey), James (Jamey) and Jeffrey. Claudean, like her husband, was an entrepreneur, and during her working years Claudean was a real estate agent/broker, ceramic studio owner, and plant nursery proprietor. Later, she found great joy traveling with Dalton in their motorhome. Claudean enjoyed working outdoors in her flower beds and collecting Hummel figurines and Beanie Babies. She certainly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Claudean is survived by her sons, Joseph Claude Johnson (Amy Maley), James Dalton Johnson (Amy Foster), Jeffrey Lee Johnson; grandchildren, Patrick Johnson, Walter Johnson, Scott Johnson, Joseph Johnson(Daja), Jessica Johnson Ralph(Brandon); great grandchildren, Sylas Ralph, Hadley Johnson, Evelyn Ralph; and a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Claudean was preceded in death by her loving husband, Emmett Dalton Johnson; parents, Claude Livingston and Ruby Dean Livingston; and sister, Mary Waller.

The family is being served by Mangum Funeral Home.
