Sharon Vaneta Odom, 59, of Joaquin, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2019 in Joaquin. She was born on February 1, 1960 in Center to Mack Gene Odom and Maidland Vaneta Phelps Odom. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Mangum Funeral Home. 

Sharon grew up in Logansport, Louisiana and graduated form Logansport High School in 1978. Sharon had a passion for traveling and vacationing to new places. She also enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially using driftwood to make unique creations. More than anything, Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Those precious moments spent in conversation and laughter were what she treasured most. 

 

 

Sharon is survived by her son, John Eric Head; brother, Jason Odom; sisters, Gilma Odom, Maxie Odom and Laura Odom; grandchildren, Eric Alan Head, John Cameron Head and Ashleigh Jade Head. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Maidland Odom; brother, Mitchell Grant Odom; and sister, Teresa Rene Odom Yarborough.
