Virgie Boone Fearrington Zwissler passed way Sunday April 7, 2019, in Hemphill, Texas, at the age of 83.

 

She was born July 25, 1935, in Houston, Texas, to parents Samuel Luther Boone and Vera Mae Martin Boone. Virgie was a retired beautician and was a longtime resident of the Houston area. In recent years she had relocated to the Broaddus, Texas, area and was a member of Long Pines Baptist Church.

 

Her survivors include a son, Jody Fearrington of Splendora, Texas; and a brother, William Boone and wife Frances of Broaddus, Texas.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband. James Fearrington; a son, Charles Fearrington and Johnny Brown; sisters, Ann Bass, Shirley Mae Boone, and Violet Boone; and brothers, Jimmy Harold Boone and Alcus Boone.

 

A graveside service is set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, San Augustine.
