Mr. Wheeler was born September 27, 1932, in the Arcadia Community of Shelby County to John Edwin Wheeler and Cletis Goolsby Wheeler. “Cotton”, as he was known, grew up a farmer’s son, planting and growing just about anything. He had a great love for John Deere tractors. Later, he joined the United States Air Force and worked as an aircraft mechanic. This experience led him to a 35 year career with CRC Corporation. Given everything he was able to accomplish, his most prized accomplishment was his family. Mr. Wheeler loved his family more than anything.
