Funeral Services for Karen Denise (Williford) Beasley, age 63, of San Augustine County, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Martin Doran officiating.  Burial will be in the Macune Cemetery in San Augustine County. 

 

Visitation will be from the 11 a.m. to  2 p.m Saturday in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel.

Karen Denise was born April 27, 1955, in Houston, Texas, to the late Wennie and Harvey L. Williford.  She obtained her Masters in Education and taught as a Special Education Teacher and was an art instructor for several years. She was a member of the State Board of Texas children with disablities from the years of 1998 till presently, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in San Augustine. 

 

Those who are left to cherish her memory include, her loving husband, Larry Beasley of Bronson; son, Brett Allan Beasley of San Augustine and daughter, Emily Melissa Beasley and husband, Victor Simmons, Jr. of San Augustine, her sister, Deborah Hanson and her husband, David of Friendswood and brother, Ronnie Williford and his wife, Pat of San Antonio, along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. 

 

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Wennie and Harvey Williford, daughter, Elyse Beasley and a brother, Kenneth Williford
