Edith Warren Franks, 102, of Center, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019, in Garrison.  
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 21, 2019, at Cold Springs Cemetery in Garrison with Rev. Rick Anderson officiating.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.

Mrs. Franks was born January 1, 1917, in Shelby County, to Ed Warren and Harriett Crump Warren.  She was a secretary for a cotton gin for several years and later was employed with Cotton Belt State Bank in Timpson and First National Bank.  Mrs. Franks was also a bookkeeper for Dr. Lester Warren.  She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star Timpson Chapter #396.

She is survived by her daughter, Martha Muckelroy of Garrison, Texas, son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lynn Franks of Seabrook, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Carlos Gray of Center, Texas; grandchildren, Pam and Jay Loving of Coppell, Texas, Kenneth and Crystal Franks of Houston, Texas, Lea Franks of Houston, Texas, Gina and Ski Betanski of Austin, Texas, Sam Beasley of Wuxi, China; great grandchildren, Troy D. Franks, Hazel Betanski, Warren D. Franks.
She is preceded in death by husband, Troy Franks; son, James Troy Franks; parents, Ed Warren and Harriett Crump Warren; brothers, Samuel Warren and Jack Warren; sisters, Ruby Jones, Sallie Adams, Dessie Mae Tyson, Helen Muckelroy.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Franks, Ski Betanski, Danny Jones, Dean Lester, Tom Franks and Carlos Gray.  Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Beasley and Steve Franks.
