Walker (Dub) Coyle

 

 

Walker (Dub) Coyle will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Center, TX, at the age of 96. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home, Center, TX, beginning at 11:00 a.m. He died of natural causes at Holiday Nursing Home. He is met in heaven by his loving wife, Eva, and sons, Ben & Kelly, along with various family members. He had a wonderful life in which he loved his family, his garden, and working with heavy equipment. He was a WWII veteran, he served the United States while stationed in USA, China, and India. 


He was born in Billings, Oklahoma, to Ovadee Coyle and Matilda McAnhan Coyle, January 27, 1922. His remaining legacy is with 1 son Keith Coyle (wife Renee) and family, 1 daughter Ann Calzada and Family, and the late Kelly’s daughter, Angela Coyle. 


He loved living in Center and was known and loved by many. His family would like to thank all that made him smile, by bringing him coconut cream pies, cinnamon rolls, and visiting him. He was a good strong loving man who put everyone else’s needs before his own. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
