Jesse grew up in Center and graduated from Center High School Class of 1968. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country in Vietnam. When Jesse returned home, he became a carpenter and worked for different companies and was self-employed. One of Jesse’s favorite things to do in his spare time was treasure hunt. You would see him out and about with his metal detector searching for the lost treasures in our area. He had a fascination and passion for the history he could find buried within the area. More than anything, Jesse loved spending time with his family and friends. He was such a kind-hearted and gentle soul that loved everyone he met. Jesse was a member of Neuville Baptist Church where he enjoyed the fellowship with his church family until he was unable to attend.
Jesse is survived by his brother, Aaron Waller of Center; sisters, Carolyn Denby of Florida and Jeanie Amburn of Center; brother-in-law, Larry Fountain; sisters-in-law, Glenda Waller of Center and Deborah Waller of Center; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Granville and Luna Waller; brothers, Jerry Waller, Earl Waller, Harvey Waller, Calvin Waller, Alton Waller and Bill Waller; and sisters, Wanda Waller and Susan Fountain.
