Alma Lovett Ellington, 93, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018, in Center.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Good Hope Cemetery in Center with Bro. Doug Fincher and Sister Melba Rodgers officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, beginning at 12:30 p.m.

 

Mrs. Ellington was born December 10, 1924, in Shelbyville, to R. T. Lovett and Ethel Davis Lovett.  She owned and operated Alma’s Beauty Shoppe from 1969 until 1993. Her hobbies included mowing the lawn, picking up pecans and baking cakes for the elderly.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
