John Weatherly, 93, of Mesquite, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, at his home.  

 

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Garrison Funeral Home in Garrison with Chaplain Bill Wright officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Garrison.

 

Mr. Weatherly was born March 1, 1925, in Garrison, to Cecil Weatherly and Sue Little Weatherly.

 

He is survived by

Son: John Weatherly Jr. and wife, Cindy

 

Daughter: Hope Goree

 

Granddaughter: Amanda Goree

 

Sister:

Bobby Simmons

 

A host of nieces, nephews and friends

Wife: Dorleene Weatherly

Granddaughter: Sarah Goree
