Judy Carrington, 77, of Center, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018, in Nacogdoches.
 
Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Antioch Cemetery in Center with Bro. Johnny Lewis officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
 
Mrs. Carrington was born February 25, 1941, in Center, to Hobson Lawson and Lela Jones Lawson.  She was the owner and operator of The Red Kitchen for many years.  She supported her community through her membership of Shelby County Dutch Oven Cookers and Shelby County Red Hat Society.  Her hobbies included cooking for and spending time with her quilting group.  Mrs. Carrington was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
 
She is survived by

Grandson: Kyle Carrington of Nacogdoches
 
Sister: Ruby Hughes and husband, Charles, of Center
 
Brother: Billy Lawson of Center
 
Sisters-in-law:

Clydie Mae Lawson of Center
Nadine Lawson of Center
Leona Lawson of Baytown
Barbara Carrington of Mineola
 
Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
