Dorothy Annette Mathews

 

Dorothy Annette Mathews, 77, of Center, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017, in Nacogdoches.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Don Murphree and Bro. David Long officiating. Interment will follow at Joaquin Cemetery in Joaquin.
 
Mrs. Mathews was born September 7, 1939, in Avinger, to Boyd Starrett and Ruth Wilson Starrett.  She retired as a manager from Bealls after 20 years of service. Mrs. Mathews enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her dachshund, Shotzie.  She was a member of Jackson Missionary Baptist Church.
