Lorene Tidwell McEntire, 94, of Timpson, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at her residence.

 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. David Haley officiating.  Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Timpson.

 

Mrs. McEntire was born April 25, 1922, in Shelby County, to John Thomas Mims Sr. and Mary Cozart Mims.  She loved cooking, gardening and spending time with family.  Mrs. McEntire was a member of Messiah Baptist Church in Timpson.

 

She is survived by

Son: Thomas Tidwell and wife, Jayne, of Center
