Jimmy Carl Fenton

 

 

Jimmy Carl Fenton, 65, of Nacogdoches, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016, at his residence.
 
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center and also from 2:00 pm. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016, at North Street Church of Christ in Nacogdoches. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016, at North Street Church of Christ in Nacogdoches with Bro. Ellis Reynolds and Bro. Freddie Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.
 
Mr. Fenton was born April 7, 1951, in Center, to Roy Fenton and Helen Laverne Cates Fenton.  He served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972, during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Fenton retired as Principal from Overton ISD.  He loved to sing, spend time with family and loved his God.

Pallbearers will be J. P. Fenton, David Fenton, Bryan Fenton, Kevin Fenton, Max Fenton and Keith Askew.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Fenton’s grandchildren: Josh, Jake, Addison, Asher, Trey and Corey.
