Golda Emanis Punkoney

 

Golda Emanis Punkoney, 100, of Center, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016, in Center.
 
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Rick Anderson officiating.  Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service, beginning at 12:30 p.m.  Burial will be held at Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.
 
Mrs. Punkoney was born January 28, 1916, in the Arcadia Community of Shelby County to J.W. Emanis and Eva Jane Gillespie Emanis.  She loved sewing, painting, listening to gospel music and gardening.
 
She is survived by
Daughter: Pamela Punkoney Vance and husband, Richard, of Center
