A.M. “Bo” Scott Jr.

A.M. “Bo” Scott Jr., 85, of Center, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016, in Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Tim Perkins officiating.  Interment will follow at Old Salem Cemetery in Shelby County.
Mr. Scott was born November 7, 1930, in Center, to Audrey M. Scott and Zina M. Fountain Scott.  He served in the United States Army, where he retired after 20 years of service.  Following his retirement from the Army, Mr. Scott worked as a policeman and a fireman for the City of Center for 22 years.  He loved cooking and was an avid outdoorsman.  He especially enjoyed taking care of his livestock.

Pallbearers will be Chris Scott, Jay Scott, Collin M. “Trey” Byrnes, Christopher M. “Beau Buster” Byrnes, Morgan Bailey and Beau Scott.  Honorary pallbearers will be L. D. Eaves, Eddie Hughes and Center Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Center Volunteer Fire Department.
