Charles Zeno King, Sr., age 75, of Broaddus, passed from this life Saturday, May 28, 2016, in San Augustine.

 

Charles was born to Zeno and Eunice King on January 24, 1941, in Blum, Texas. He was employed in the Construction Industry doing Roofing. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

 

Those who are left to cherish his memory include, His children, Ruby Hardin of Broaddus; Ruth King of Houston; Son, Charles Z. King, Jr. of Houston; Step-Son, Carl Strawther of Graham, North Carolina; Brothers, James King of Jasper and Bobby King of Fort Worth; Sisters, Vivian Swaffar of Midlothian; Ann Johnson of Zacery, La; and Grace King of Fort Worth; His beloved grandchildren, Thomas Hardin; Ashley Hardin; Amanda Crimm; Ryan Ahrens; Charles King III; Adrian King; Dustin Greer and Andrew Strawther; His Great-Grandchildren; Brooke Spoonmore; Anthony Garney; Gabriyella Hardin; CJ Silva; Jayden Silva; Amelie King; Sutton Greer and Zowie Greer.

 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan King; His parents, Zeno and Eunice King; Sisters, Francis Heald and Cathy Blakely; Brother, Earnest King and a Beloved Daughter, Carol King, and Granddaughter, Tiffany Hardin.

 

A Gathering of Friends will be held Friday, June 3, 2016, from the hours of 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas. 75972.
