Mary Cannie Lewis, 95, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, at her residence.
 
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. David Long and Bro. Richard Hinton officiating.  Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Joaquin.
 
Mrs. Lewis was born November 12, 1920, in Joaquin, Shelby County, to William Thomas Hinton and Virgie Ann Taylor Hinton.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening.  Mrs. Lewis was a loving Christian mother and grandmother.
