Bill Kent, 76, of Center, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016, in Center.

 

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2016, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Hollis Bass officiating.  Interment will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Martinsville.

 

Mr. Kent was born December 4, 1939, in Rising Star, to Bert Kent and Ada Florence Kent.  He was a member of VFW Post #8904, where he had 100 hours of community service, Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149 and Old Home Baptist Church.  He enjoyed reading his Bible, going to lodge, exercising and spending time with his family.
