Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Jo Lathan (84) of Center will be Saturday, January 30, 2016. Mrs. Lathan died at her residence.  Services will be held at Mt. Zion CME Church (921 Martin Luther King Drive) Center, Texas, at 2:00pm.  Rev. Robert Gipson will be officiating. 

 

Mrs. Lathan’s survivors are:   

 

Son:  Ira Lathan, Jr 

Daughter:  Vernice (Danny) Brown

Granddaughter:  TaDansha Brown 

Great-Granddaughter:  JaNiyah Jones

 

Visitation Service at Hicks Chapel from 6:00pm to 8:00pm 

 

Committal at Westview Cemetery in Center, Texas
