Magnus H. “Randy” Ransom

Magnus H. “Randy” Ransom, 83, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at his residence in Shelbyville.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2016 at Wimberly Cemetery in Shelby County with Bro. Jeff Spring and Bro. Jack Forbis officiating. 
 
Mr. Ransom was born April 13, 1932 in Branchville, Indiana to McKinley Hobert Ransom and Annabell Saalman Ransom. He retired from a supervisory position with Lucent Technologies. Mr. Ransom was a founding member of the Toledo Bend Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

Son, Randy C. Ransom and wife, Mary of Champlain, Illinois

Janet Eppler and husband, Todd of Bossier City, Louisiana
Rhonda Lewis and husband, Dalton of Shreveport, Louisiana
Cindy Poellnitz of Shelbyville
 
Grandchildren;
Lori Ezernack, Jim Lewis, Jonathan Lewis, Paul Honeycutt, Blake Ransom, Jay Arnold and Stefani McCabe.
