A Natural Gas Vehicle Workshop developed for the area by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Energy Task Force and the Center Economic Development Committee will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next Wednesday, May 21 at the Windham Civic Center. The public is invited to hear the industry specialist discuss vehicle conversions and fueling options as the community faces the future. Presentations will cover vehicle conversions and Compressed Natural Gas fueling stations and equipment.  CNG transition for school districts will be addressed along with a bus exhibit. Among the presenters will be a Natural Gas Industry Update from Texas Railroad Commission regional coordinator, Susan Shifflett, and State Senator Robert Nichols will be the keynote speaker, discussing the future of natural gas in Texas. Registration is required by today, Wednesday by calling the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce at 598-3682. Lunch is included in the $10 fee.
