Jackson Promoted at Shelby Savings Bank

San Augustine native Tyler Jackson has been promoted to vice president at Shelby Savings Bank. Board Chairman Rick Campbell made the announcement yesterday.

Campbell said Jackson has done an outstanding job and they expect more great things from him. He added Jackson is an example of the great people that East Texas produces.

Tyler Jackson graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in finance and returned to San Augustine in 2009 and began work at Shelby Savings Bank soon afterwards in the loan servicing department. In 2011 he moved to the Hemphill branch as a loan officer, and then transferred to the San Augustine branch in 2012.

Jackson and his wife Marcia have two children, and his parents are Mike and Debbie Jackson of San Augustine.

Shelby Savings Bank president and COO Will Lucas said it was an honor to announce the promotion, adding he’s incredibly talented.
