The UIL will release its bi-annual reclassification and district realignment information for the next two years, at 9:00 Monday at respective Regional Education Service Centers across the state.

Schools in our area will receive their packets at the Region 7 center in Kilgore. School districts already know what classification they’ll be in, as cut-off numbers were furnished in December.

Center will now be in Class 4A; while San Augustine, Shelbyville, Timpson, Tenaha, and Joaquin will be 2A, and Garrison 3A. The UIL is doing away with six-man, which will be 1A, and creating a Class 6A for high schools with enrollment in excess of 2,100 students.
