Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 84-year old Alfred “A.J.” Sorsby of Huxley. He was an electrician by trade and served on the Houston Fire Dept. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with military graveside service to follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Alfred “A.J.” Sorsby is survived by his sons, Carl “Bubba” Hatcher of Longansport, Randy Lewis and Ronney Lewis of Houston; three sisters, Betty Sorsby Smith of Coolidge, Joyce Sorsby Conley of Cypress and Gladys Sorsby Hargrove of Mexia.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 86-year old Billie Jo Wallace of Center. She passed away Sunday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon today at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church. Service will be at 12:30 at the church, with interment at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Billie Jo Wallace is survived by Terry Dale “Doc” Wallace of White Oak, Cynthia Ann Hill of Conroe and David Clint Wallace of Buda.

 

Watson & Sons announces funeral service for 87-year old Bernadine Hailey Creech of Shelbyville. She passed away Saturday in Caldwell. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 this evening at Watson & Sons. Service will be at 2 Tuesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Bernandine Hailey Creech is survived by: a daughter, Paulette Snell of Dime Box; two sons, Tommy Hailey of Houston and Ricky Hailey of Hockley; a sister, LaWanda Reynolds of Buna; and a brother, Spencer Parker of Shelbyville.

 

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service is pending for 81-year old Joe Davis Foster of Ft. Worth, formerly of Center. He passed away Sunday in Van. He served as a Shelby County attorney for many years. Joe Davis Foster is survived by a son, Davis Foster of Van; a daughter, Catherine Hitt of Ft. Worth; and Mother of his children, Mary Edith Foster of Center.

 

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces funeral service for 91-year old James A. “Jim” Nance of San Augustine. He passed away Saturday. Service will be at 2 Tuesday, with burial in Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 this evening at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.
