When the Timpson City Council meets at 5:30 this afternoon, they’ll receive the public works report, the police department report, and report from the municipal court, which has collected $82-thousand in citations in November and December. Only $12-thousand is the city’s portion. Council members will discuss and possibly take action on the Adopt Citizen Participation Plan; Texas Municipal League Earthquake/Flood Insurance; recognize Charlotte Broadway for 30 years as utility billing clerk for the city, and consider extending a part-time position.
