Watson & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 86-year old Carl T. Campbell of Port Arthur. Service was at Watson & Sons Chapel, with burial at Carroll Cemetery in Shelby County. He passed away Thursday in Beaumont. Carl T. Campbell is survived by a son, Mark W. Campbell of Port Arthur; four sisters, LaMerle Davis of Houston, Louise Greer of Shelbyville, Ann Scarber of Huxley and Kay Ballard of Mont Belvieu; two brothers, Earl Campbell of Center and Crit Campbell of Shelbyville; and a great aunt, Helen Caroll of South Carolina.

Joe W. Samford’s survivors include: a son, Donald; daughter-in-law, Sandra Burleson Samford; and a sister-in-law, Glenda Sue Conner.

He passed away last Friday at a San Augustine health facility. Garrison Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements Sunday for 74-year old Johnny Cook of Garrison. He was a heavy duty mechanic, and passed away last Thursday in Nacogdoches. Johnny Cook’s survivors include, wife, Linda of Garrison; two daughters, Connie Cook of Michigan, and Lisa of Houston; four sons, Tracy, Johnny, Robert and Kevin Cook, all of Garrison; sisters, Jane Jordan and FN Cook; and a brother, Jack Cook.
