Shelby County Commissioners have voted 4-0 to approve an outdoor burn ban for Shelby County, effective until substational rains occur in the county.  This morning's action followed action taken by Shelby County Judge Rick Campbell to put such a ban in place last week.

The court voted 4-0 to table action on Sheriffs and Constable fees for 2014 and a county sick time policy which would allow current active employees to donate sick time to other current, active employees in need.
