15TH ANNUAL HEALTH AND FITNESS FAIR 

 

Planning is underway for the 15th Annual Health and Fitness Fair, Presented by Cline Family Medicine.  The Health and Fitness Fair will be held Friday, October 21st from 9:00am until 2:30pm at the Windham Civic Center.   The Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for vendors.  To receive an application, contact the Chamber offices or go to our website and click the Health Fair link.

 

The Health and Fitness Fair is hosted by the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension Office.  The purpose and goal of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Health Care Committee and the Health and Fitness Fair is to educate Shelby County and surrounding areas about health and wellness resources in the area pertaining to their personal health and well being.

 

The health and wellness industry encompasses all businesses and activities which promote physical and mental well being for all ages and stages of life.  From the traditional approaches to a more hollistic approach; from a fitness program to healthy eating; personal care and beauty; nutrition and weight loss; mindfulness and mental health and more.
