Marijuana Grove Found in National Forest

 

 

According to San Augustine County Sheriff Robert Cartwright on the morning of August 29, 2019 the San Augustine County Sheriff's Office in conjunction with aid from the Texas DPS, Game Warden Office, U.S Forest Service, and several other Sheriff's Offices entered a national forest located near FM 147 to remove a marijuana grove. 

 

The marijuana grove had been found a few days prior and at the time of our interview with Sheriff Cartwright law enforcement were in the process of destroying the plants.

 

According to Sheriff Cartwright this case is still under investigation.
