Nacogdoches man was arrested after assaulting his girlfriend

 

 

A Nacogdoches man was arrested after assaulting his girlfriend late Saturday night, June 22, 2019. Deputies with NCSO were dispatched to the 6000 block of Highway 21 East. Upon arrival, they found the victim was bleeding from the face and head due to injuries sustained in the assault. 


The suspect, Malcolm Creamer was found in the back bedroom and appeared to be heavily intoxicated. Creamer advised law enforcement he was sorry for what he had done, and further explained that he was just drunk. 


An investigation revealed that an altercation had started between Creamer and his girlfriend and the suspect assaulted the victim with a .40 caliber pistol by hitting the victim in the head several times with the weapon. The suspect also pointed the weapon at the victim during the assault. 


Creamer 35 years of age from Nacogdoches was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon a 2nd-degree felony and booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
