Three Center men arrested in narcotics bust

A lengthy investigation by the Center Police Department’s Tactical Narcotics Team has lead to the arrest of three Center men. A press release issued by the Narcotics Division, says a search warrant was served last Friday afternoon on a residence at 1103 Bolton Street, where the owner of the property, 46-year old LaJuan Christopher Cole was found to be in possession of PCP or “Angel Dust”, and was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Second Degree Felony, in addition to Possession of Crack Cocaine, a Third Degree Felony. Also arrested at the residence was 35-year old Melton Garrett, on a charge of possession of PCP, and 29-year old Marcus Cartwright, charged with Possession of Marijuana. The Center P-D’s Narcotics Division said they have been tracking the distribution of PCP and Crack Cocaine by Cole, as well as other dealers in the area. Detectives have additional charges pending on Cole as well as others involved.
