Shelby County Outreach Ministries is gearing up for their Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The annual event will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Senior Nutrition Site, Loop 500 in Center. This year organizers will also be having a Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Senior Nutrition Site in San Augustine, at 405 South Bolivar. However, Shelby County Outreach Ministries needs turkeys, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, eggs, and homemade desserts. If you would like to volunteer your time to serve, deliver meals, donate one of the listed items, or if you would like to help sponsor this great event, you can call Pam at 936-572-5040.
