Join CASA of Deep East Texas for our annual CASA Royale Fundraiser at The Fredonia Hotel in Nacogdoches on Saturday, January 19. Guests will enjoy Vegas-style casino games including craps, blackjack, roulette, and poker while listening to the smooth sounds of the SFA Jazz Band. Casino coins are exchanged for raffle tickets. Fajitas will be served and a cash bar will be available.

 

All proceeds go to support CASA of Deep East Texas.

CASA of Deep East Texas was founded in 2006 by a group of citizens who saw a need CASA in the child welfare system in Nacogdoches County. CASA of Deep East Texas expanded their services to Shelby and San Augustine Counties in 2011. In 2017, CASA of Deep East Texas served 276 children in Nacogdoches, Shelby, and San Augustine counties and currently have 43 active volunteers. CASA of Deep East Texas is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and is a member of the National and Texas CASA Associations. There are more than 1,000 CASA programs nationwide and 72 CASA programs in the state of Texas.

 

 

CASA of Deep East Texas serves Nacogdoches, Shelby, and San Augustine Counties.  We recruit and train volunteers from the community to advocate on behalf of children in foster care.  We currently serve 186 children and we need the support of our community to continue our efforts to make sure that every child in foster care has a voice.  Won’t you please join us at our CASA Royale Event on Saturday, January 19, at the Fredonia Hotel.
