Willie B. Woodards, 66 of Garrison, passed away Friday in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services for Mr. Woodards will be held today at 1pm at Sweet Union Missionary Baptist Church in Garrison. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Garrison.  He is survived by his wife Dorothy Woodards of Garrison, (4) sons Willie B. Woodards Jr and Vincent Woodards of Nacogdoches, Patrick Woodards and Allexander Woodards of Garrison

Choron Grimsley, 98, of the Short Community in Center passed away Monday at Pine Grove Nursing Home.  Visitation will be tomorrow starting at 2:00 p.m. until service time.  A military funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel. No graveside service will follow; Burial will be at Short Cemetery. He is survived by his Wife, Bettye Grimsley of Center and a son Gerald Grimsley of College Station.

Mrs. Evelyn Keith, age 83, of Pineland, passed away Monday in Hemphill.  Her wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned.  She is survived by a son Ted Keith and a daughter Sybil Upton, both of Pineland.
