The Shelby County Commissioners Court met today 7-25-18 at 9:30 a.m at the active Shelby County Courthouse and after the opening prayers and pledges took the following actions:

 

1.  They approved and paid weekly expenses.

 

2. They approved the current payroll.

 

3. No official public comments on agenda items.  

 

4. Bobby Daw gave a report on the Shelby County Expo Center.

 

5. J.C. Lewis, President of the Shelby County Historical Commission addressed the Court and gave an update on the Comissions business.

 

6. They approved Commissioner Pct. 1 to get bids for a new Billy Dump trailer.

 

7. They Discussed retaining or removing local fees for Chapter 502 of the Transportation Code for the Calendar year of 2019.  They made no changes.

 

8. Bobbie McDaniel address the Commissioners' Court about the Flag at the Sheriff's Office.

 

9. They discussed and approved Commissioner Pct. 3 to create County Road 3704 being 1,836 ft.

 

10. The court adjourned.
