Timing and Overview:

 

Although some melting of the snow and ice has occurred this afternoon especially on the well-traveled roads, a clearing sky will allow for temperatures to quickly fall into the teens this evening, allowing for areas of black ice to redevelop on roadways, bridges, and overpasses. I will linger through much of Wednesday as temperatures will struggle to reach the forecast 37 degree high even with the sunshine .
