Local schools are gearing up for the start of school Monday by hosting a "Meet the Teacher Night". Excelsior ISD Meet the Teacher is scheduled for tomorrow from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. You may bring your child's school supplies at this time. Joaquin Elementary Meet the Teacher will be held tomorrow from 5:30 until 6:30 pm. Shelbyville ISD Meet the Teacher will be held tomorrow from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Students may bring their school supplies. Following Shelbyville's Meet the Teacher is “Meet the Dragons” which begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Dragon Stadium. Tenaha ISD Meet the Teacher will also be held tomorrow from 4:30 to 6:30. Middle School and High School students may pick up their class schedule at this time also.
