The San Augustine County Commissioners' Court will have a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. this afternoon as the county applies for a Texas Community Development Block Grant through the Disaster Recovery Program.

The purpose of the meeting in the county courthouse will be to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of local housing and community development needs.

San Augustine County Commissioners' passed a disaster resolution at a meeting earlier this week in regards to rains that have affected county roads.

The funding would go to replace culverts and a bridge.
