Organizers say 62nd Shelby County Sheriff's Posse Pro Rodeo best in a number of years, new royalty crowned

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Posse reports last weekend’s 62nd annual Pro Rodeo was one of the best in a long while.

Really good crowds and local participants helped the effort. Crowned as Sheriff’s Posse Queen was Morgan Patton of Crowley, Texas; Duchess, Cheyanne Barrett of Cleveland; and Princess is Gracie Leach of Shelbyville.

Coordinator Ann Blackwell says Ms. Patton was also Most Photogenic and Amada Chmielewski was Miss Congeniality. Gracie Leach was high ticket seller.

Winners of the “Cowboys Up Your Storefront” Contest was Self Defense America taking first place and winning $500 and second place, Stephen Shires Law Firm, winner of $250. Each also received rodeo tickets.
