A new 24/7 convenience store along with a McDonalds restaurant is slated to open in San Augustine Wednesday.

David Wilson is operations manager for Denny Oil Company’s Check-Point and says the store will open its doors at 10 a.m. Wednesday and remain open around the clock offering Shell fuels and food, including sandwiches, salads and drinks, along with gifts and clean restrooms.

Wilson says McDonalds' ownership has told him they will eventually be 24-hours.

This marks the seventh co-branded store for Nacogdoches based Denny Oil Co. Check-Point.

A formal grand opening is planned for the location at 4 p.m. on June 18.
