Funeral services for Kathleen Taylor, 85, of Timpson,TX, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday,June 8, 2015, at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, Timpson,TX with Pastor Carla Reed officiating.  Intermentwill follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be 9:30-11:00, AM, Monday, June, 8, 2015 at Taylor Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor passedaway Saturday, June 6, 2015, in Garrison, Texas.

Born March 12, 1930, in  Nacogdoches, TX, to the parents, Herman AngusByrd Moore and Odessa Winder Moore. She grew up in Garrison,TX where she graduated from Garrison High School. Kathleen furthered hereducation by attending Stephen F. Austin State University, earning a Bachelor’sDegree in Homemaking and launching her career as a teacher. She enjoyedtraveling and most of all being around her grandchildren. Mrs. Taylor was amember of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Tom Taylor and wife NancyG. of Prattville, Ala.; grandchildren, Elaine T. Beach and husband Matt ofColumbia, MO and Allison G. Taylor of Denver, CO. 

In addition to her parents, Kathleen Taylor waspreceded in death by husband Thomas E. “Ted” Taylor and son, Clayton MooreTaylor.
