Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell tells Center Broadcasting that Texas Rangers continue to investigate and collect information from a shooting incident last month in Joaquin that took the life of Richard Sharp, Sr. and injured his son, Richard Sharp, Jr.

An investigation after the incident on May 12 determined James Leggett shot both men at his residence on FM 139. No charges have been filed against Leggett.

Sheriff Blackwell said all evidence will be presented to the Shelby County Grand Jury.
