Craig Horn named as new Tenaha ISD AD/head football coach

The Tenaha ISD has a new athletic director & head football coach as the board of trustees voted to hire Craig Horn last night.

Coach Horn comes to Tenaha after a short stay at Class 3A Brady, near San Angelo, where he served as AD/head football coach.

Superintendent Scott Tyner says there were some 30 applicants for the job, with two finalists named, who reportedly met with the school board last night.

The opening at Tenaha occurred when Terry Ward left last month after six years to take the job at Harleton.

Horn is a 1996 graduate of Hubbard High School where he returned to guide his alma mater to a 34-12 record in four years, including district titles each season before leaving for Brady. Horn also coached Itasca for four years, compiling a 30-12 record.
