Hello Chamber Friends!

We're finally getting a break from the rain, but get ready for the heat.
Let's continue to pray for those affected by the flood waters.

Have you noticed the speedy construction happening in what was once "our
circle".   Mayor Hughes gave a detailed update on "historic, progressive
San Augustine" during the April membership meeting.  The construction
project should be complete within 7-10 months with drainage systems, bike
trail, and designated entrances and exits to businesses within the area.

Well, what we've all been waiting for is HERE!..... McDonald's is scheduled
to open, Wed. June 10th at 5:00 am.  Door Prizes will be available


If you missed the May membership meeting, you missed a treat.  We "Celebrated Education" and our Jr Chamber did a fantastic job conducting the meeting. We were also delighted that some of our Broaddus ISD friends visited and interested in starting a Jr Chamber.

Denise Smith, with Angelina College, shared information about Angelina
College in our County and Terry & Connie (Jackson Hill Marina) catered a delicious meal!  We hope to see YOU for the next membership meeting and bring a friend:
